I recently have experienced my 21st Surgery in the past 4-5 years. I will be 55 years youngish in May!
Once a healthy strong Hockey Player, Tennis Player, Skier, Jogger (ran 2 Marathons)Baseball Player, Professional Career Man, A Dad of two incredible young ladies, Provider and just lover of Life....I am now Disabled. Career path and just maintaining a job is no longer feasible!
I utilize a Walker and considered a fall risk. On Major Opiuds  managed by ,MT. SINAI HOSPITAL PAIN MGMT TEAM. I as well am on weekly IV Treatments. I do NOT want to be on such Drugs, however my pains are like taking a Hockey Puck Slap Shot to my Colon with no padding on. With this pain 24/7!
I recently (Jan 6, 2015)had a Major Surgery which integrated a Laminectomy, Spinal Cord Stimulator with Colon Implant.  I AM NOT COMPLAINING! I am facing the realities and looking to help others (and myself) to find New Levels of Qulaity of Life via a Caring, Brilliant,Unique, Evolving and Supportive PATIENT NETWORK!
While I have been battling, recuperating, recuperating again and again and battling my Illness, Surgeries, Meds and Health Challenges, I decided to try and not have pity on myself but to find a way- a conduit-a platform in which to help other PATIENTS with NEW FOUND QUALITY OF LIFE SUPPORT.
